About the Stake referral code

Stake's referral code is Betreferral. What you get when you sign up through BetReferrals: instant VIP perks: level-up rewards, rakeback, and weekly and monthly bonuses based on your wagering.

These are ongoing rewards rather than a one-off sign-up bonus: they keep coming back as you play, and most of them grow as you move up Stake's VIP levels. They suit players who already play regularly. They are not a reason to bet more than you planned.

Enter the code when you sign up, or within 1 hour of registering in the bonus code section of your account. After that window the code can no longer be added to your account.

What these rewards mean

VIP programme

A VIP programme ranks players by how much they have wagered in total. Each new level improves the rewards you receive, such as a higher rakeback rate or larger periodic bonuses. Levels are earned by playing: check the VIP page of the casino to see what each level unlocks.

Level-up rewards

A level-up reward is a one-off bonus credited when you reach a new VIP level. It is the casino's way of rewarding progress, and it usually grows with each level you climb.

Rakeback

Rakeback gives you back a share of the house edge on every bet you place, win or lose. It is calculated on how much you wager, not on how much you lose, so it is paid even in a winning session. When a casino calls it instant, you can usually claim it whenever you like instead of waiting for the end of the week.

Weekly bonus

A weekly bonus is a reward credited once a week, usually sized on how much you wagered in the previous seven days.

Monthly bonus

A monthly bonus works like the weekly one over a longer period: it is calculated on your wagering during the month and credited once the month closes.

Where Stake may not be available

Crypto casinos operate under offshore licences, and many countries do not allow that. The lists below are a general guide to the law, not the casino's own list. Always check the restricted countries in Stake's terms before you sign up: a casino can close an account opened from a country it does not accept.

Online casinos banned

Australia, France, Singapore, Japan, India, Israel, mainland China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia.

Local licence required

Italy, United Kingdom, United States, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, Brazil, Ontario (Canada). Offshore casinos without that licence are not allowed to serve players there.

BetReferrals is not available in Italy. These lists are not complete and are not legal advice: laws change, and some countries regulate gambling by state or province.

Before you sign up

You must be 18 or over, or older where your local law says so.
Check that Stake accepts players from your country and that online gambling with it is legal where you live.
Set a deposit limit in your Stake account before your first deposit.
Treat every reward as a discount on entertainment you would pay for anyway, never as income.
