How to read these odds
The prices are decimal odds. Multiply your stake by the odds to get the total return: a $10 bet at 2.50 returns $25, which is your $10 back plus $15 profit.
Implied probability
Under each price you see the chance the odds imply, worked out as 1 divided by the odds. A price of 2.00 implies 50%, a price of 4.00 implies 25%. It is the bookmaker's view of the match, not a prediction: the real result can and often does go the other way.
The margin
Add up the implied chances of every outcome and you get more than 100%. The extra is the bookmaker's margin, its built-in edge on the match. We show it on every card: the lower the margin, the fairer the price. Margins are usually lower on the biggest matches and higher on smaller events.
Why Champions League and tennis
We cover the Champions League and the ATP and WTA tours: competitions followed by players all over the world, with matches almost every week of the season. Football is shown as 1X2 (home, draw, away) and tennis as a straight win for either player, since a tennis match cannot end in a draw.
